In 1923 she got married to Rudolf Sieberwhich whom she got to know during the shooting of the film "Tragödie der Liebe" (1923). In 1924 their daughter Maria, who was called Heidede, was born. Five years later Marlene Dietrich was established as part of Berlin´s cultural life, she performaned in the theatre and films, but only in minor roles. The photos taken by Wolff von Gudenberg and Mario Bucovich paint a picture of her before and during the making of the movie "Blauer Engel". The difference is striking: Before the "Blaue Engel" she tried to be seen as a elegant, modern woman; then, during the making of the film, she mixed her garments with male and female accessories and wears carpenter´s hat, in which she can later be seen as Lola Lola singing the song "Ich bin von Kopf bis Fuß auf Liebe eingestellt" at the end of the film. | ||||
